Data Science
Columbia summer program for data science and machine learning. It’s an in-depth program about machine learning models, their implementation, and their applications to real-world problems and datasets
AI/ML
Harvard pre-college deep learning program. Here I gained hands-on experience with neural networks, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and game-playing algorithms. I also collaborated on a final project applying advanced AI concepts to solve a real-world problem, culminating in a presentation to peers and instructors.

As part of the founding team, I have participated in many invitationals and competitions while also mentoring our school's middle school team, guiding them through the process and managing tasks. As a new school that started with no resources for the club, I have helped establish a foundation for its progress and guided others to succeed as Vice President

Girls Technovation
As a Technical leader, I advised peers and mentored middle school teams with the technical and coding aspects of developing the app for the Technovation Challenge. Last year, we created an app to educate the youth about the importance of climate change, mental health, and good nutrition by allowing the user to input data about their daily life and complete tasks to learn more about how to protect the environment

With a passion for helping my community, I have marketed for numerous fundraisers, service projects, drives, and volunteering opportunities hosted by my school and in conjunction with the Kiwanis Club and other local Key Clubs part of our division and district. The club has raised 5k+ for organizations like PTP (Pediatric Trauma Program) and UNICEF while hosting drives or service projects for children with special needs, senior citizens, and veterans. Additionally, I have helped establish the club’s online presence, build the club's social media platforms to spread awareness for these causes, and create media to promote the club

I have been playing classical guitar since age 4 using the Suzuki method. Over the years, I've performed in multiple recitals and ensemble groups, and had the opportunity to open for professional classical guitarists ‘Dieter Hennings’. These experiences have taught me discipline, teamwork, and how to perform confidently in front of audiences. Music has been a constant part of my life and has shaped how I approach challenges and express creativity.

Working under the mentorship of the Algoverse team on real-world AI research, I recently co-wrote a research paper, "DecepBench: Benchmarking Multimodal Deception Detection," about creating a benchmark for generalized deception detection on the DOLOS dataset, which has been accepted to three conferences: top NLP conference ACL for the SiCon and GEM workshops and Philadelphia conference MASC-SLL. Current approaches to deception detection are limited by the lack of generalizable and interpretable benchmarks built on diverse datasets. To address this gap, we introduced DecepBench, a comprehensive and robust benchmark for multimodal deception detection. I am the person presenting this research at ACL in Vienna, Austria.
